We consolidated the #SonicDE for #ArchLinux packages and created a standalone repository at https://sonicde-arch.github.io. There, we provide binary packages for x86_64 and maintain the PKGBUILDs for the #AUR. Please update any existing custom SonicDE entries in your pacman.conf.

The maintainers of @openmandriva have created initial packages for #SonicDE and are now calling for testers. You're welcome to read the instructions and leave feedback at https://forum.openmandriva.org/t/sonicde-call-for-testing/8822.

Rumor already has it, and it's true. We’re currently working on removing #Wayland support from #SonicDE and the underlying forked libraries. This will pave the way for us to focus on preserving and improving our #X11 version of #KDE #Plasma 6.

#SonicDE third-party packages are now available for #Debian and #Devuan. They are compiled for both the #amd64 and #arm64 architectures. You're welcome to test the packages and to contribute at https://github.com/sonicde-debian/debian .

#SonicDE is being demoed on a #Steam Deck by the @openmandriva devs at #FOSDEM in Brussels. They launched, quote, "the most expensive marketing program in history" :-D;-) and we're happy to be part of it.
