Programm ab 16:00 — 22:00Als Gegenprotest gegen den rechten, christlich-fundamentalistischen Marsch fürs Leben, wollen wir euch dieses Jahr wieder auf ein Straßenfest einladen, mit dem wir uns die Innenstadt zurückholen wollen! Dort, wo ein paar Meter entfernt Fundis gegen Abtreibungen aufmarschieren, zeigen wir wie vielfältig Wien ist und sammeln Spenden, die den Kampf für Reproduktionsrechte unterstützen! Im Sommer waren wir über 2000 wütende Queerfeminist*innen und haben den Fundis den Tag vermiest, jetzt ist es wieder an der Zeit!
Passt auf euch auf! Es kann sein, dass sich Fundis im oder um den Karlsplatz und in der Innenstadt befinden, also schaut auch bei der An- und Abreise aufeinander!

"The chaos that will accompany the return of the Trump administration represents an opportunity as well as a challenge. This is a chance to assert an autonomous pole of organizing, carrying forward the lessons of 2020 and the movement against Cop City while continuing the fight against patriarchal violence, white supremacy, and colonialism.
"By organizing ahead of Trump’s inauguration, we can seize the initiative and set our own timeline rather than being caught flat-footed and forced to react. We need to welcome new participants into these struggles and foster a revolutionary perspective that can orient us through the challenges ahead. No amount of internet activity could substitute for gathering face to face. The most important battles ahead will not be fought online, but in the streets of our communities.

Im Wahlkampfendspurt haben gerade - wenig überraschend - ein paar FP 🤝 ÖVP 🤝 Grüne 🤝 Redakteur(e) ihren gemeinsamen Nenner in Queer-/Nonbinary-/Transfeindlichkeit gefunden.
Falls sich wer wundert wie das mit der rechten Diskursverschiebung so gut funktioniert? Ein kleines Beispiel: Rechtsextreme + rechtskonservative "Mitte" + TERFs + (Links)liberale Old-White-Men denen der Feminismus™️ ja "nicht zu weit gehen darf" regen sich alle über eine Mini-Antidiskriminierungsmaßnahme auf.
Der Aufregungs-Impuls kommt von rechts und es finden sich zuverlässig genug aus der (Links)Liberalen Medienecke die brav die Begrifflichkeiten übenehmen und rechte Narrative weitertreiben. Das Programm läuft in den letzten Jahrzehnten im Dauerloop.
Wir sagen: Bitte endlich mal das #MaulHalten! Und wünschen allen ein herzliches und queerfeministisches Fight the Cis-tem and Smash the Patriarchy!

I wanted some aggro music to shake myself out of the cold symptom stupor I'm rapidly descending into, so I came home from work and put on a Discharge record. (Note: the rest of my family is not home yet. If they were, this plan would be voted down very quickly.)
I've always felt that Discharge had politics similar to Crass, but minus all the arty sophistication—they relied on raw speed, extreme volume, and adrenaline as the tools with which to get their (quite fatalistic) worldviews across. All of their songs are played at the same breakneck tempo and have lyrics which are screamed in an unmistakable monotone.
One could argue that verses like "Men women and children groaning in agony // From the intolerable pains of their burns //
A hell on earth, hell on earth" are simple and dumb, but if you frame them as a kind of punk haiku, the sloganeering really does go perfectly with their brutal riffing and apocalyptic, D-Beat drumming.Also, Discharge gets big points from me for their liberal use of pick slides. If you're gonna be in a band with a mean-ass guitar sound like this, there should *always* be pick slides.
