#Galway railway station is being rebuilt, but the signage is appalling and you just have to wander around at random to find your way in. I know it's difficult when you're rebuilding a station in the middle of a city but they really have made so little effort.

The #bike provision on the train was clearly designed and installed by someone who has never actually seen a #bicycle.

Went out to Inis Mor yesterday, it was lovely to see the island again and we did a bus tour this time, as I was with someone a little less mobile, with a great tour guide who was a native of the islands. He was very honest about life on the islands and the history. It was wonderful to hear the stories and histories from someone who witnessed it!

Unfortunately I got seasick on the way out for the first time in my life, which was a surprise!

I was talking with a Sinn Féin guy about GLUAS in #Galway. He asks where I’m from. When I say I’m from Russia, he goes, “Oh surely, you’d build this project in six months.”

For fuck’s sake. Infrastructure projects in Ru take years, they’re built like shit, and millions are stolen along the way. Children’s Hospital? That’s literally your normal Russian infrastructure project.
