I just realised that for the entire time, NTSYNC in Proton-CachyOS wasn't enabled. And when I did enable it, the game turned into a quality upscaled 60+ FPS kind-of-ray-traced symphony @ 1440p. Tramvaji jezdim v Liberci zridka. Vsude to mame kousek a navstev oblasti za nadrazim, kde by se tramvaj hodila, je za rok presne nula. I tak letos potkavam dost casto tuhle modrou smrt na novych karetne-listkovych terminalech.
Udelat to modre je za me dobry napad. Vina se prenese na windows a lide se vubec na chudactvo tramvajove ridicstvo nezlobi. Ovsem vcera jsem se dozvedel plot-twist. Tady se nic nesynchronizuje, ani zadna komunikace neprobiha. Je to aktivni stav toho zarizeni, ktery si muze revizor zapnout a vypnout magickou kartickou ... kdyz to vidam tak casto, tak si rikam, kdo jim tu magickou karticku vyfouk a jen tak ze srandy vypina terminaly v tramvajich.
Taky by se mi takova karticka hodila.

Following on from our recent ISO refresh which included it's own repository sync, we have our next weekly sync which some nice additions. We have landed some pretty important updates across the repo and across our DEs. The highlights are as follows:

Lilbits: Turning a smartphone into a mini-laptop, the first 750 Hz monitor is coming, and MCON mobile game controller hits Kickstarter
Before smartphones were a thing, the world of pocket-sized computers were somewhat divided between touchscreen devices like the Palm Pilot and mini-laptops like the HP Jornada 720. Taking inspiration from the latter, TypingCat has designed a portable keyboard case for a Google Pixel 6 Pro that turns a smartphone into a mini-laptop, complete with a Linux-based desktop environment (running inside of Android, so you can still use the phone as… a phone).
In other recent tech news from around the web, UGREEN plans to expand the line of network attached storage (NAS) devices the company first unveiled a year ago. A company called KOORUI plans to show the first consumer monitor with a 750 Hz refresh rate at CES next week. And there’s a new crowdfunding campaign for a mobile game controller with an unusual design.

This game controller for smartphones has a slide-out design that makes it feel like a somewhat chunky smartphone case when retracted, while giving you a full set of controls positioned below the screen when extended. It’s going for $99 during crowdfunding, which is 33% off the expected retail price of $149. It’s expected to start shipping in August.

This is stupid. Just use LMDB on a regular filesystem, and run it with MDB_NOSYNC. In that case most I/Os will only get as far as the filesystem cache anyway, so it will be the same perf as tmpfs.
Using tmpfs for LMDB is dumb because RAM allocated there is stuck. While RAM in fscache can still be repurposed if needed.

Well, I was able to do one load of laundry and I’m calling it a win. Especially because I had to physically remove a spider from the washer before I started washing everything. :ablobcatcry:
