@MrLee Was also curious; here's a try: you don't see all posts with the hashtags you search for on Mastodon as I understand it - just ones your server has cached already from other usage / users on that instance. So #tagspub lets you follow EG @gr8memes and then that "account" reposts for that tag, so you see any #gr8memes posts you might otherwise not have.

Got a real finger killer of a shell command you find yourself running a lot when developing or fixing something? Seems pretty obvious in retrospect but it took me a while to remember - use the alias command. Alias run = “docker build -t container name . && docker run —rm -it -p 8080:8080 container name”. Then just typing run executes those. #ShellTips #SoIRememberNextTime

I’m sure this is an oft-asked question, but what do people use instead of Voicedream Reader these days? It has been getting worse and worse in my experience, culminating in the Mac OS version completely locking up when I open it, seemingly with no end. I know I have a huge library, and it’s definitely downloading stuff, but it’s horrendously unusable these days, sorry to say.
