Geheel belangeloos voor jullie getest, een standaard #mokapot op een inductieplaatje en een mokapot voor #inductie. Beide gevuld met exact 150 ml water en 14 gram #koffie. Beide op stand 9 van het inductiefornuis. Met het plaatje duurde het 6 minuut 49 seconden, de inductiepot klaarde het in 1 minuut en 22 seconden. De smaak kwam overeen.

I just made coffee on my Bialetti moka pot.
Ususally I buy SICAL, a portuguese brand of coffee, but this time I will go with the brand Buondi.
This coffee has notes of dark chocolate.

I'm going to commit coffee heresy and say that the Moka Pot is better than the Aeropress for travel. No need to bring filters or a water boiler, and the coffee it makes is just as good. I've brought the Aeropress and forgot my filters too many times. It also doesn't pack that well because of it's awkward shape. I guess that's why they want you to buy the Go. The only downside of the Moka Pot is that you have to wait for it to cool down before you can clean it. :welp:

I came across a blog post on Extra Fine Writing titled Check it out, a weird little pen that looks like a coffee pot. When I saw the headline on The Well Apportioned Desk, I was not sure what to expect. But when I opened the post, I recognized the pen in question as having been inspired by a moka pot. I ordered a size 2 #mokapot from Amazon. I was one of those people who ended up with a size 6 previously, for no good reason.
It was interesting. First they told me they were going to add it to my order and deliver it the next day. That was cool.
Then it kind of regressed in delivery until they said they didn't know when they could ship it and they would email me when they could.
But the killer thing is, their web page still promises same-day delivery to my location.
Bad Amazon.

Discovered the mighty magic of brewing coffee in a moka-style stovetop pot.
I haven't had this much energy in 40 years.
(My first try, and it came out pretty acceptable, but I bet I can get a better outcome with a wee bit of tinkering. You might say that I'm motivated now.)

so I have a moka pot now
that's a lie, I've had a moka pot for ages. it came free with my hand crank grinder (long story). I just didn't know that mine was complete, because unlike every other moka pot I've seen mine has a perfectly circular hole in the middle of the lid. I assumed that's where the plastic lid topper goes and I'm just missing that, but for the life of me I could not find that part. I now understand why—it's a "brikka" model, which is intended to have that hole and so nothing is missing after all
so now that I know that my moka pot is complete, I gave it a good wash and made my first moka pot coffee in it. it's... very good!! it's very chocolatey and creamy and yummy. it almost feels like eating a dessert whereas my normal coffees are more like consuming a beverage
which is fair enough because after the easiness of cleaning of the aeropress and especially the hario v60, the moka pot is a pain in the butt to clean. so I probably won't be using mine very often, but I think it makes very very good coffee for when one does use it

watching this vid located Nakhon Ratchasima I noticed this coffee vendor using some kind of custom made clamps on his Moka pots - I assume for rapidly switching between Moka pots as he makes lots of coffee for custumers but not exactly sure? Any ideas?
