Have you ever worked on a #SvelteKit project where you want to use the Git-based CMS #Keystatic? Up until now that has usually meant installing a separate web framework like #Astro / #Remix / #Next.js just to run the #CMS, which might not always be desirable.
Until now - I found a way and created a tiny integration you can add to your next #webdev project!

Interesting read about #authentication and #authorization in #localfirst #p2p software.
I still have a few more alternatives to review, but the library @localfirst/auth could be a good option.

@antfu Thanks for your work to explore #pnpm catalogs. I agree that this is especially useful to document how and when to update certain dependencies.
Some are safe to change (testing and dev deps), and others require careful review (runtime production dependencies with access to sensitive data).
Looking forward to how this develops over time. This could create big improvements for #JavaScript and #TypeScript projects.

Have you ever needed to extract text from images embedded in a #PDF? I can highly recommend the open source #CLI tool #OCRmyPDF which is easy to automate in for example a #DataPipeline.
It uses #Tesseract #OCR under the hood and has many options to experiment with to get the best possible accuracy for your language and PDF content.

Wow! You know that #Web #Tech is getting really good when you are able to replace significant amounts of #JavaScript with a few lines of #HTML and #CSS. Best part is the fact that you get #a11y out of the box with native widgets 🙌
A few examples: `<dialog closedby="any">`, stylable `<select>` and even HTML autocomplete/typeahead using the `<datalist>`.

What do you think about the following incentive structure for founders of #cooperatives?
1. Founders contribute unpaid work to get the #coop started.
2. Once the #cooperative is sustainable economically, founders get a limited period of additional salary, based on what they think is fair given the initial unpaid work.
3. After that, all #workercooperative members own and govern the organization on the same terms, and all get compensated based on the policy they agree on.
