Das hatte in meiner Retro-Sammlung noch gefehlt: Hab heute die beiden Disketten der deutschen "Defender of the Empire" Erweiterung für das Star Wars Spiel "TIE Fighter" bekommen. Was mir jetzt leider noch nicht zugeflogen ist, ist das entsprechende Handbuch dazu. Das vermisse ich bisher leider sogar in den großen Online-Sammlungen. Vermutlich selten. Mehhh.... muss ich finden. 😟

Star Wars: X-Wing Collectors Series with XWVM alpha
Played #XWVM (closed) Alpha with my ViperPit and with #XR glasses. I’m simply in awe that I can replay missions from #XWing (or #TIEFighter) with more modern graphics and modern interface devices again. I spent _so many_ hours playing this as a kid.

The game was played with #Viture Pro XR running in Side-By-Side mode thanks to ReShade on a Linux PC.

In my photographs the spaceship models are usually shown from some distance. The illusion of realism in closeups doesn't work that well when paired with real life backgrounds.
Closeups alone however, are kinda neat. I think.
