  11. Gestern nach fast 2 Jahren Pause mal wieder Elite Dangerous gestartet. Bin immer noch ca 20k Lichtjahre von der Zivilisation entfernt, bewege mich aber laaangsam auf sie zu. Langsam bedeutet in dem Fall Sprünge von ca. 3-7 Lichtjahren. Und, dass ich natürlich jedes System scanne und jeden high value Planeten nochmal oberflächenscanne.
    Irgendwann werde ich schon zur Menschheit zurückkehren 😂

  16. #Debian13 OS upgrade update: Finally got my #OpenTrack head tracking working for #EliteDangerous ! I'm still unsure what the actual resolution was, but I'll take it. And in a surprising twist, VMWare Workstation installed and ran with zero issues!

  17. I'm really interested in code literacy and the aesthetic value of code so it was amazing to ask software archeologist Mark Moxon a few questions about the beauty of the source code to the classic space sim Elite! Thanks @markmoxon !

    That's a glorified #DIY joystick controller with an LCD ('MFD') and plenty of RGB for my #Linux PC

    Newest additions are my videos for #X4Foundations, #EliteDangerous and #FlightOfNova (all also on makertube.net/a/bekopharm) and instructions how to compile #OpenTrack with the #neuralnet tracker using #ONNX runtime.
