Free Stars SuperMelee demo just dropped!

If you're not familiar with Free Stars, it is the new name (after much legal wrangling) for the Star Control franchise, back in the hands of its original creators. The game series is rightfully legendary for its top-down, wildly asymmetrical arcade spaceship combat.
The previous game, The Ur-Quan Masters, came out in 1992 and is still incredible (plus it's free and has been ported to nearly everything).

i'm really glad the nonparametric formula i developed for quantifying these ROIs in the 2D case carried over so well to 3D. that took some serious programming! i managed to make it really effing fast. #pewpew
