Just updated my WinUAE emulation setup to the the brand new version 6.0.3. This is still such a beautiful retro setup. WHDLoad, as well as MT-32 music emulation are still doing their thing.... working like a charm!

The Dig was released 30 years ago in November 1995.
General opinions of the game seem to be that it's a decent but not remarkable LucasArts point and click adventure. But the visual and audio presentation of this game have long made it one I really want to play, but I still never got around to.

Hace poco resolví una de mis espinitas clavadas en #videojuegos y me pasé #thedig
Aunque se nota el paso del tiempo a nivel técnico, es una obra que ha envejecido muy bien y que conserva ese #sentidodelamaravilla. Es una obra algo más seria de lo que se estilaba en #LucasArts en el momento y se nota la mano de Spielbierg en el guion de lo que iba a ser un capítulo de Cuentos Asombrosos.
El juego te transporta a una aventura espacial con puzles lógicos que siguen la fórmula de Lucas Arts de "lo que parece fácil no lo es tanto y requiere unos pasitos extra". La historia que hay oculta de lo que es una simple excavación sorprende y te hace reflexionar, y el personaje de Maggie ya era una demostración de cómo escribir bien personajes femeninos, algo que la industria del videojuego olvidó durante un tiempo.
Eso sí, decepcionada porque Brink y Low no se lían, y mira que la tensión sexual entre ellos es más grande que Júpiter.

Actually, you should check out a 1990s #LucasArts game called "The Dig."
I'm not a gamer, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I'm guessing it's on archive.org. Probably playable right there on the browser, although #DosBox might be a better experience.
