Commodore: New edition of the TAC-2 joystick announced
The newly formed Commodore International Corporation has revived a classic joystick with the TAC-2. Originally developed by Suncom in 1983; the controller was known for its durability. Commodore is offering the new edition for pre-order starting at the equivalent of about 43 Euros plus sales tax, depending on the model.

Joy with a joystick! controller functionalities have been improved.
We heard you! Thanks to your feedback, we made several improvements and fixes to the gameplay experience using game controllers.
Now, you can press down the left and right sticks while in the secondary step to quickly increase and decrease the Sliders in the Suite and games. Read more about it and how to use in the Marvel Realm's documentation.
There were also several additional improvements in controller functionalities, making your experience easier and better than before!

Idea for a twin-stick shooter gamepad for C64, VCS (classic DE-9 connector) : wire up SNES-style controller:
* d-pad -> joy 1 U/D/L/R
* L button, select -> joy 1 fire
* face buttons -> joy 2 U/D/L/R
* R button, start -> joy 2 fireI would probably try this out with emulators first to identify which games actually support this. Should be possible to patch existing games, too.

Das #HomeComputerMuseum #Frankfurt hatte eingeladen und es sind sehr viele Gäste und ehemalige #Commodore Mitarbeiter gekommen 🤗
Der frühere Geschäftsführer von Commodore Deutschland #PetroTyschtschenko hat sein Buch vorgestellt, es gab viele Geräte zu bestaunen und viel zum Zocken. Ich hatte für das #Atari7800+ so einige Module dabei, und #NinjishGuy Jr für das #Atari2600 wurde von allen Altersklassen am besten angenommen. Auch mit meinem #Joystick Eigenbau aus dem Jahre 1985 kamen die jungen Leute erstaunlich gut zurecht 🕹
