I’d like it if the #AWS #ECR #lifecycle #policy preview were sufficient for my situation. But it’s not.
I have a #repository with lots of #accesscontrols around it, so I can’t just rewrite its lifecycle policy at the drop of a hat. And I don’t want to copy a bunch of images around to set up a #simulation on a #throwaway repository, when all I really need is the #metadata.

CW: Separation, memories, mourning
Today was a hard day. The separation has been going on for about 10 months & I threw out some signs that were hanging around the house for city-wide clean-up starting tomorrow. One sign reads "Love isn't finding someone you can live with, it's finding someone you can't live without." This sign hung over our bed for most of our marriage until she left. I was not prepared for the tears I shed in the kitchen after I was done.

So, I'm all about using less plastic (that breaks easily and pollutes). I own a wood and metal toilet paper holder (similar to this one) that's outlasted anything plastic. We should build things to last. That's the opposite of what #ThrowAway #Capitalism wants us to do! #BuiltToLast #PlannedObsolescence

Worst mechanical design ever for a broom. Cheap plastic with no structural strength at the highest point of stress. Temporary fix to eye out more lifetime, but don't recommend these (no, I did not buy this in the first place) #crappy #broom #consumerism #ThrowAway
