I kinda like that #OpenSource stuff is usually a bit crappy.
I mean, the corporate stuff is crappy too, and full of trackers, so crappiness is not *terrible*
In a way, I think the open source crappiness draws attention to how impressive it is, because it reminds me that I could never create something like that.
And the lack of trackers and whatnot makes me more accepting of the crappiness. It's like you have to put up with it because you know it's better for you.
Like the software equivalent of muesli or something.

I am lost in the unbelievable maze of Medi-Cal Bureaucracy, which only communicates by robot which doesn't have answers. But wait--I did talk to an ombudsman who said someone must've made a typo somewhere (which is why I haven't received my ID card after 2 mos.) and sounded like she wanted to cry when she referred me back to the heretofore unresponsive Monterey County office. One more try and then to hell with it. I'm off to find a shaman/healer. #crappy #healthcare

Hah, saw the someone has more or less cloned my crappy app for Android. The name is the same but the UI is a bit different and many features are missing.
I don't really care one bit about Android so I wish them good luck.
Nobody pays for anything on Android and piracy is rampant so I guess they will have a hard time making any money at all.

Overall I think I spent a couple of days with research 🧐 and it paid off. While doing that I think I downloaded some 20 charge apps.
As a side note: having owned 2 Teslas I would not have taken the trip with either of them. During the last 3+ years with them I learned not to trust them at all and paid waay more fixing them than probably all the previous cars I’ve owned combined. #crappy build #quality 🤬
#audi Q4 was really comfortable to travel w/ the family.

No, no, Bing, I was searching for "Debian Hamster" (which is a work related time tracking tool for tracking time spent on projects). Not this other search. But, SURE, let's throw LLMs at your crappy search data instead, that will fix the problem, I am sure. #Linux #SearchEngine #crappy

I was thinking about Breakfast Club ...
And it occurred to me how when #computers were all #crappy in the 1980s, there was something more magical and mysterious about them, and #movies could basically allow characters do ridiculous things with a BBC micro or something.
I miss that.

Bear in mind I've only seen up to part way through #Voyager.
There are a few I think - especially the #crappy comedy episodes.
For me the Voyager episode Fury where #Kes makes a return is one I pretend never happened.
The producers of the show totally betrayed Kes in that episode, turning her into something she never was.

I kinda feel the recent changes to #Mastodon are going to make this platform go crappy.
I think maybe someone should make a #Fediverse platform that removes all the latest additions -- call it #Luddodon or something.
I'd join that, I think. Something so basic it's actually also quite #crappy. Maybe with crappy 80s graphics!
It's something to think about: How would you structure a #SocialMedia platform?
I don't think I'd base it on Twitter. I'd use some other structure and it'd be #SuperCool

That episode where Keiko OBrien's body is possessed by some ghost from Bajor is a fairly #crappy episode.
Miles OBrien: My wife's been taken hostage! I must meet all it's demands and put the entire station and everybody on it at risk to, um, try to save my wife ...
Also the conclusion was very predictable.

The #SexyKira episodes of #DS9 are examples of shit multiverse shit. I watched the second one where:
🖖 Sisko pretends to be his alter ego perfectly without ever meeting him
🖖 They all kiss each other passionately without hesitation - for some reason ...
🖖 Miles, who was previously a slave miner, is now all technical
🖖 Sisko's wife was describes as 'not gentle' yet was nice.
🖖 It involves characters being antagonistic/threatening to other selves without any signs of hesitation
