It's way too long since I mentioned how much I hate #windows. It's smart enough to understand that's in a virtual machine. It even offers you options to create new virtual disks from inside the Windows #virtualmachine (creepy!). It also gobbles your disk space like it's candy for no reason. If you try to "fix" that by giving it more space it's too stupid to expand the partition by itself because of course the damned "Recovery" partition must sit at the end of the drive instead of somewhere where it doesn't get in the way. Who came up with that crap layout? Btw. never in my life did I successfully use the Recovery partition. 🫠

I am constantly pleasantly surprised. Since #Nextcloud flagged that PHP 8.2 would soon be too old, I just upgraded the server from 12 to #Debian13 #Trixie. Aside from changing to php8.4-fpm in the Nginx config and installing a few additional PHP modules, it was an incredibly smooth process. Kudos to the maintainers!

The virtualization program, VMware Workstation Pro, has been updated with a brand new version, 26H1, which was released yesterday. This version of VMware Workstation brings several feature additions, as well as general improvements and bug fixes to improve your virtualization experience and to make this program more secure.

VMware Workstation Pro used to be a 32-bit application that provided compatibility for systems that are still using 32-bit hosts, especially on Windows. Installing 4 VMs right now at the same time, my PC is maxed out when it comes to RAM at the moment.

Those are Sandbox/Testing VMs.

2 with RHEL 10.1 (Client and Server), one with Debian and one with Arch.
All of which are mostly for testing Ansible and Podman stuff.

Arch is nearly finished, the rest still have a good amount to download/install.
