Dear #lazyweb, what is the best way you know to represent #tagged #enums in #Python? It needs to be at least somewhat type-checkable, although it's possible I might settle for something like enumerating each value's associated data type/tuple once again for mypy to see.
So far I've been using a hierarchy of frozen dataclasses and then a single-dispatch handler; however, now I have a possible use case with the need for validation, and the hierarchy of dataclasses is not discoverable, thus not, well, enumerable :)

It's curious how some peope are treated like this but here's a whole load of other, a more powerful #elite, who can knowingly take thousands & lose neither their job nor their #home.

@TechNews Ummm....okay, but just don't expect to use Canva to create accessible content.
Canva cannot generate a tagged PDF that meets WCAG or PDF/UA accessibility standards. Canva is a design scourge for folks interested in accessible content because it is so widely used to create newsletters and posters with text instead of just using it for image work.
Yes, Canva claims they are working on improving PDF output, but right now it is a mess.

One of the most useful tricks I use on the web while using #Mastodon has been listing my own #tagged content with /tagged/TAG appended to the URL.

Very handy if you like taking part in these things but can't remember if you've posted something before.

@BlckheathHopper Kind of a halfhearted implementation, isn't it?! I've come around to their way of thinking that, on the whole, #QuoteTweets are more trouble than they're worth. But the question then becomes whether people want to be #tagged into a discussion that mentions them in passing, and naturally some will and some won't.
Of course the best thing is, if anyone wants to be untagged, you can just edit the post. Witchcraft!
