So, #PortlandMaine used to have a beautiful train station (built in 1880) -- but demolished it in 1961 to build a #StripMall! Now Portland is going to build a new train station (while taking down a some houses -- not that Portland has housing crunch or anything like that /sarc) and some open space -- because tearing down the strip mall that was in the original spot isn't economically feasible. Such a waste... But there was so much of that during so-called #UrbanRenewal.

Went out to have lunch at The Kabob Shop in #encinitas today, and sat at a table outside. The "mall" music (it's in a #stripmall kinda) was #blacksabbath .
