"Dignitaries are scheduled to meet on the bridge at 11:30 a.m. for the ceremony.
Once opened, the Gordie Howe crossing is anticipated to potentially draw a majority of commercial trucks and passenger vehicles currently using the Windsor-Detroit trade corridor, according to a Detroit River International Crossing study."

I live in a townhouse complex in #WindsorON
Some of my neighbours are lazy fucking slobs who can't put their trash bags IN the Dumpsters, instead they put them in front or down the sides.
This means when my shitlazy garbage truck comes, those bags end up under the dumpsters where they burst, they rot, they attract skunk and roaches and smell like a corpse vomited a crap.
So, I took my snow shovel and a pair of gloves out and cleaned up what I could.
Only to get shit from Old Smokey McPickup Truck broad from 2 doors down that I should call the landlord, or the city, and not clean it up myself.
People fucking disgust me.
I cannot wait to get out of here.

And bikes? Ha! The cycling infrastructure on the Canadian Side is trash because the City decided not to invest a lousy couple hundred grand, and Sandwich Town's lame BIA didn't fight for it. What infrastructure there is takes cyclists away from Sandwich, away from Windsor all together. Amherstburg is going to see more cyclists than anywhere in Windsor, especially the west end.
