- Last night my daughter chatted with me at length about both the academic and social aspects of her life at high school.
- I had to go to the laundromat to wash some bedding and was dreading an hour and a half of noise from television game shows, car dealership commercials, and so on. How delighted I was when I discovered that the woman in charge today had not only switched the television off but put on Pandora Classic Soul instead!

Jane Laundromat in Greenwich village has a very striking typeface for Laundromat. It has lovely curves on all the corners of the letters and the terminals are squared off like cutting a ribbon. I cant work out the logic for when an angle is a curve, and when it is rounded. Does this break some rules? The relationship between N M and U is interesting

'quite the step up from Flash' aka ascii animation.
(I'll put the script up when I'm at the machine where I left my laundromat keys. this was surprisingly easy to make, let's talk ideas on how to make it less shitty.)
In the meantime:
