  20. Are you using #Sourcery as a SPM plugin? Does it fail with some weird "Error code 513" with #Xcode 15?
It seems Xcode15 enforce sandboxing more strictly, and Sourcery has a cache system using files that are written somewhere. You need to instruct Sourcery to use the writable folder (provided by the build system, through the Plugin.Context) for those files using --cacheBasePath
    Voila !

Here’s how it looks like in Sourcery Pro using some dependencies from @pointfreeco isowords’ as sample code.

  37. Three years ago, we launched the Sourcery project at AHA 2020 in New York. COVID-19 stymied our plans, as it did so many #research visits to #archives. But it also gave us an opportunity to take more seriously our archivist colleagues' needs and concerns when it comes to the challenges and opportunities of remote access to archives.

We spent the pandemic listening to and working with archivists. The result is a fully refactored application that will support both sides of the remote document request workflow -- that of the researcher AND the archivist.

Now at #AHA23, we're pleased to announce that #Sourcery will reopen on March 1st as a one-stop destination for requesting document scans from across the U.S.

  47. I never managed to post an #introduction, so here goes.

I’m Tom Scheinfeldt. I’m a faculty member at the University of Connecticut, where I teach history of technology, digital culture, design thinking, and digital humanities. I also direct an interdisciplinary research incubator called Greenhouse Studios. I’ve worked on lots of things through the years both at @uconn and at the Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media at George Mason University, including #Sourcery, #THATCamp, and #Omeka.

I blog at foundhistory.org. I like #swimming and #skiing and I have a wife and two sons. We live in West Hartford.

    Loving Mastodon so far!

(BTW: If you followed me in the last week or so, you may want to do so again. A bunch of followers were erased due to some technical issues on my server.)
