Putting 40 pound bags of wood pellets away, 6 bags at a time in the wheel barrow. It's about 30 yards downhill to the basement, then carry each bag inside to the stack. Then back uphill with the (thankfully!) empty wheelbarrow.
Got a ton done yesterday, in about an hour, by myself, but today only half a ton before I Peter, Paul and Mary'd out.
That's when you don't just Peter out. It's much more than just him!
I am looking at a heart valve replacement in October. It went from moderate aortic stenosis July 2025, to severe in August '26. I am asymptomatic, however, but it really SUCKS to be feeling it this year.
I need to take a minute after every 6 bag load of the wheel barrow, and it's hard for me to accept I really don't and haven't been feeling up to snuff.
So so so grateful for my insurance. There's no way I could ever pay for this big surgery.
But it's a hard acceptance.
