Philly especially South Philly just lost an icon, mosaic mural artist Isiah Zagar. It is hard to overestimate how his often copied never equaled broken “stuff” wall sized mosaics transformed everything it touched. Condolences to his family, esp. his wife who runs Eyes Gallery on South Street. Can report teeny weeny snow dozers are swarming over icy south philly digging out alley size side streets. The snow is getting piled at the end of the block. Reports are it still sucks to walk anywhere. Buses have reappeared.

Here’s a new one. It rained last night and the neighborhood junkies stole our trash bags. They dumped out all of our garbage on the sidewalk and stole our fucking trash bags. We figure they didn’t target our neighbors cuz they use shitty small white and pink bags and we use the big black ones. What a horrible fucking shitty messy thing to wake up to.
