  1. The evening’s “live” selection doubling as the nighty night jam: a favorite from Pat Benatar off her first album that hubby Neal Geraldo came up with at the last minute because, the story goes, with the album all but finished, the record label wanted one more tune for the album. One thing I always liked about it was it showcases just a bit of her opera vocal training.

  2. For no particular reason: a really great rendition of a favorite Babys tune from their second album. Everyone’s spot on but the girls on backing vocals nail it.

  3. A nighty night jam: would hear this one late at night - like now at bedtime - on WIFC/Wausau, Wisconsin, shortly after Pat Benatar’s first album was released in late August, 1979, around the time I began my sophomore year in high school. Always liked this one more than “Heartbreaker.”

  4. This evening’s “live” selection here on deck: it’s one of my favorite Pat Benatar tunes that, according to her hubby, Neil Geraldo, was the last song recorded for her 1979 album. “Heartbreaker” was the big one off that album, of course, but this one also got plenty of airplay back then and didn’t do too badly chart-wise. PB was 69 years old when this was recorded and she can still display some of that operatic background.
