Die dritte #Ribes Divaricatum ist eigentlich noch nicht sicher bestimmt. Sie stammt aus dem Lönsbruch in #Hildesheim. Auffällig sind die wunderschönen, fast gefiederten Blätter. Hab ich so noch bei fast keiner anderen Ribes gesehen, nur die Johannie-Züchtung der Ribes Sanguineum macht ähnliches. Dass es eine Divaricatum ist, schließe ich aus den drei Meter lang werdenden Trieben, der hellen Rinde, den schwarzen Früchten, den eher spitz als rund gezackten Blättern und den langen Staubgefäßen.

Zweite #Ribes Divaricatum ist wohl die Sorte Schwarze Honigbeere. Deutlich mattere Blätter, die sich nicht einrollen. Früchte sind nur leicht oval, teilweise kugelrund. Wuchs etwas langsamer, aber ist inzwischen auch riesig geworden.

Wird mal Zeit, meine #Ribes-Sammlung zu präsentieren. Seit einigen Jahren sammele ich Johannis- und Stachelbeeren, nicht nur Sorten, sondern auch alle Arten der Gattung, die ich in die Finger bekomme. Inzwischen mache ich auch bisher eher unsystematische Versuche, welche auszusäen, und zu gucken, ob was interessantes dabei herauskommt.

@iteration523 Oh, ein #Ribes Fan! Ich hab mich bisher eher für die vielen verschiedenen Ribes-Arten abseits der roten Johannisbeeren begeistert. Insbesondere Ribes Divaricatum, von der ich hier im Lönsbruch in #Hildesheim einen alten Wildbestand gefunden habe. So richtig verstanden, wo der herkommt, hab ich noch nicht, und auch noch von nix vergleichbarem gehört. Der Lönsbruch wurde bei der Flussbegradigung Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts angepflanzt und hat einige Gartenflüchtlinge.

Denn die "roten Johannisbeeren", mit denen sich schon die gemeingermanischen Schildmaiden und Berserker ihren Haferflockenbrei pimpten, sind nicht die, die ihr im Laden kaufen könnt.
Nicht so knallrot, und mit festerer Schale. Werden beim Kochen nicht so matschig.
Links die skandinavische, rechts die "normale" rote Johannisbeere.
Achtet auf den Winkel, den der Stiel mit der Blattkante bildet (~90° bzw <45°) , und auf die Länge der Staubblätter (lang bzw kurz).
Wenn man es einmal auf dem Schirm hat, verwechselt man sie nie wieder. -

Red Flowering Currant (Ribes sanguineum) This plant has been pushing flowers since early January and is one of many of this species that we have at the house. Planted around our city lot, the flowering season is extended by sun exposure and micro climate that prolongs forage for insects and hummingbirds. This is on the south side of the house and is the first to bloom.
