Bonjour,
Belle balade hier après-midi au bord du lac pour une première visite de l'année à MON arbre mais aussi à la rencontre de crosses dont j'en ai "pris" plein, sans dommage, ainsi que des chatons et même un héron cendré.A lovely walk yesterday afternoon by the lake – my first visit of the year to *my* tree, but also to see some fern fronds as well as some catkins and even a grey heron.

Catkins on a Salix gracilistyla Mount Aso. The catkins are produced in spring before the leaves.
I moved this shrub a couple of years ago from an area, where it was not doing well. It is meant to grow up to three metres tall but is still tiny, probably on account of its hard start in life.

2/ the rule that the oldest #inxi code, most directly translated from #bash/#gawk to #perl, is almost always the worst and most problematic, continues to hold true. The more direct the original translation the worse it usually is.
#Salix now shows #tazpkg package manager / repo data, the distro ID works, though required yet another custom made distro ID generator hack; ALT #sysyphus ID is slightly wrong, but that's because they did the /etc/os-release file wrong, which is also sadly common.
