I finally finished pointing this wall! Please note that I had never done this before, which is why it looks like absolute bollocks 🤣 I've made a lot of mistakes, I learned a lot and maybe I'm good enough at it now to work inside the house 😅 To be determined. For now, I'm super glad that this is finally done and it's not in a place where I will have to look at it very often. 😁

Happy with how these lil guys turned out, and very happy I finally made the right painting for this awkward little frame. :blobfoxcofe_w_:

Was not as happy with yesterdays chanterelle attempts. :blobfoxlaughsweat: Chanterelles are basically small masterclasses in gradients, and so far all went like “ohh this is going to be perfect… *adds one more glaze layer* …aaand it’s ruined.”

Nach über 3 Jahren hab ich mal wieder die Aquarellfarben vorgeholt und, frei nach dem Motto "Ich habe Lust darauf und mache einfach" ... nun ja, was soll ich sagen, nach der ganzen Zeit nur mit Acryl hab ich echt eine Menge vergessen, besonders wie sich Aquarellfarben verhalten 🫣😆

Ich zeig es euch trotzdem, denn nicht alles im Leben ist perfekt 😊

Spent most of day 32/100 blowing my nose and whining, but I can breathe mostly unimpeded today, so I’m back at it!

My March #watercolor subscription box arrived, and I’m liking the idea of these succulents. I’m not liking my execution as much, but there’s more paper in the box for redos. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

OK, so now that I have really TINY brushes, I have complete freedom to overwork the shit out of even the tiniest paintings. 🤣 (That’s a size zero in my giant hand, for scale.)

Gonna have to learn some moderation here, or everything I touch is going to end up a blob.
