This started as a cheap winged cat statue tucked into the Halloween section at Michaels, the kind of thing you almost walk past. But I saw something in her and gave her a full repaint, glitter and all.

Now she sits on the shelf I keep for my cats who've passed. It feels right, honestly. Something a little magical watching over something so loved.
