    It's never been very expensive, but now feels like the right time to stop selling it... So I'm happy to announce that I'm working on making it #free #opensource ! #fosstodon

    The source code, the build scripts - I also want to write a postmortem and give access to the pre-sale only feelies. Anything else you'd like to see in there? 🤔

    Cooked up a Python script telling me how many sentences are in my source code. Right now, with the intro + 3 key "cutscenes" fully written, I'm at 430 distinct sentences coming from 380 different parser games! Love it - and that's without the "game" part 😉

    Next step is going to be nailing down the full details for the game, including puzzle dependency chart. So i guess I'm not diving into more quotes for a while!

  15. Musing an early in-development #Inform7 #InteractiveFiction game. Brainstorming some ideas to move the plot on in #Twine. Which I haven’t used much, certainly not for any long-term Twine piece of interactive fiction. But I do like to brainstorm in it some times.

  20. Prompted by some reading tonight I thought of a new #InteractiveFiction game idea I could develop. Or at least I thought it was new to me. Digging through my #Inform7 source code directory I find I’ve tentatively started something similar in the past, but hadn’t extended it further. Now feeling inspired to push on! It’s a nice thing to work on idly, as change from the fuller games I’m developing. Though it may be a little lightweight for many fans of #ParserGames and traditional #TextAdventures.
