  4. Urban rogue tip to batch-clean window screens in a multi-floors building with balconies without annoying neighbors with the water deluge:

    1. Unscrew the shower's "telephone head", connect a garden hose to the shower's hose (with a male-male screw thread adapter with the right sizes)

    2. Connect a high-pressure fan-tip nozzle to the garden hose

    3. Wait for a rainy night to bring out yer dirty screens to the balcony & pressure-wash the crap out of them. Nobody will know! :blobpeek:

  44. After the building's drain was finally unclogged yesterday, I noticed my siphon (P-trap) cleanout cap threading is imperfect, and water was slowly dripping out of it.

After cleaning the threading with a soapy toothbrush, I wrapped teflon tape (6 rounds, in the direction where you screw the cap on) on the thread, and used a Sharpie® to annotate my servicing technique (tool & rotation direction).

Forget pliers, use a jar opener; no excessive force, no damage.
