  18. There's a growing discussion about reverting Peninsular Malaysia's time zone to GMT+7, which reflects the sun's natural position. The current GMT+8, adopted to follow Sabah and Sarawak, creates an unnatural body clock (circadian rhythm) conflict with very late sunrises. As someone from Sabah, I feel the difference acutely—our time feels natural, but the Peninsular's time is jarring.
