Not sure if this is for #valve or individual game developers, but please stop syncing video settings across computers. The odds of having two identical gaming rigs is low. My steamdeck cannot handle 2k gaming with raytracing, nor should my main rig be playing at 1280x800 windowed at low.

Just finished the Fractured Resolve force tear. I like these little mini games, especially the jumping puzzle ones. Of course, I was close to getting super frustrated before I realized the force-fields swap every time I jump....

Still continuing with #JediSurvivor for my #gaming tonight. Currently going through the first planet and finding all the collectible stuff I couldn't get to before. Place is mostly picked clean, but frustratingly still some things are inaccessible.

I don't know what it is about these Bedlam Hammer guys but I cannot fucking deal with them at all. Even though logically I understand what needs to be done, I just seem incapable of doing it.

I just finished Fractured Momentum in #JediSurvivor and it only took me maybe 20 minutes to get it down pat. Jeez that was tough. Half the trouble was figuring out where the hell you're supposed to go next. #gaming

True stories of #JediSurvivor
I headed back to Jedha for main story reasons and went the wrong way up an elevator. Exited, came back, elevator wasn't there so I used the switch to call it.
I see the elevator come up and, impatient as can be, step in. Of course, that was the ROOF of the elevator, and I was promptly crushed into the ceiling.
Patience, young #jedi

Latenight #gaming with some more #JediSurvivor. Finally got back in touch with Merrin. Boy the designers knew what they were doing with her, eh?

Enjoying #JediSurvivor so far, but the combat is either more complicated than I remember or I'm worse than I was.
Anyway, thank frick for a game with a photo mode, am I right? Even my potato PC is doing fine with this one.

Started playing #JediSurvivor tonight and so far it is just like the first one, in all the good ways. Performance is not bad on my potato pc. Didn't have much time for #gaming tonight but looking forward to more over the holidays.

Jedi Survivor is 85% off on sale on Steam right now, so I snagged it for just 1400yen. I don't have time to play it right now, but it goes into the queue for later. Installing it ahead of time though, and dang it's large.
So glad my new internet is multiple times faster than my old internet, and can move gigs in mere moments.

Cal Kestis in tiefer Gedankenwelt in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Was mag ein Jedi wohl denken?

Da steckt so viel Arbeit drin.
Läuft übrigens super unter Linux! Proton mit Stream!Eure Erfahrung? Schaden sich Entwickler so nicht selbst?

Being able to see unopened chests on the world map is such a wonderful ability! I got some rumors done and opened any chest that was accessible while doing this in Jedi: Survivor!
Still annoyed with how Cal sometimes doesn't do what I want him to do...However, I'm getting better at avoiding untimely ends (still biffing it despite being somewhat more aware).
-
One thing that I am noticing is that if I don't completely align with a very specific spot...
Cal won't do what I want and fall to his death, the sweet spot should be a bit wider, especially for things he could normally grab onto. Even slight angle differences will end in utter doom. I was in Platformer hell for a very specific planet; until I narrowed down to pinpoint a specific spot the game wanted me to jump or otherwise climb from.
That was annoying, but, the game is relatively good despite this complaint. No crashes, combat mostly feels good (especially the Double Lightsaber and Blaster/Lightsaber stances).
-
I'm hunting for chests in Jedi: Survivor so I can play fashion wars with Cal...He already looks handsome in the Bomber Jacket, Fronter Pants, Full Beard. Ugh, I hope to find more apparel for this man, so Cal becomes the ultimate thirst trap: Gay Edition.
Even though I know he's implied to be straight and into a particular character from the previous game...
Let me have this paltry dream! ROFL

Day Two of Star Wars Celebration Japan. "I'm Cal Kestis." Catch me at as many video game related events as I can make it to today! Fun fact, this costume is made from the remnants of many Jedi costumes that came before, as is fitting for a Jedi Survivor 🙏🏿😌 #swcj #StarWars #JediSurvivor #cosplay
