I got a question about micropub, so I wrote a bit about my #Micropub server I made so I can publish directly from #iAWriter. It’s been serving me well for about 4 months. A little fiddly at times, but that’s the charm making your own stuff and hosting on Synology in your closet for no good reason right?

#Markdown Tips
Do you know the Markdown syntax for simple math symbols such as superscript and subscript in #iAWriter and #iAPresenter?
Our Markdown Guide has you covered: https://ia.net/writer/support/basics/markdown-guide#math

Let's try this again 😅:
In a mad dash to a client meeting, I made my first presentation in @ia Presenter.
I spent ninety-eight percent of my time shaping my message and two percent clumsily navigating a foreign UI. I spent zero percent on presentation layout and formatting. That part was done automatically and looked great. More here: #ia #iapresenter #iawriter #openformats #markdownhttps://fromjason.xyz/p/freelance/on-ia-presenter-and-my-mission-to-preserve-my-digital-assets/

@preslavrachev Have you considered just pointing a lightweight editor (#iAWriter , #GhostWriter, #1Writer, #Markor, etc.) at inbox folder(s) in your #Obsidian vault?
That way you wouldn’t have the extra step of exporting from Bear’s database.
#Bear was my notes app for several years, but I’m much happier with Obsidian. I still use #Drafts a lot, but its functionality has much less overlap with Obsidian.

I'm thinking of giving a survey of a few useful apps I use for writing (Humanities) and note-taking, as I am often suprised that students or colleagues do not know them; or at least some of them. I might do it here or on my blog, but will gladly write a few threads if anyone is interested. Tentative list: #Mellel #Nisus #IAWriter #Zotero #Bookends #BibLaTeX #Devonthink #LyX #Scrivener
