Neulich habe ich eine spezielle Webapp gelauncht: Die "Standardanweisungen für Rettungs-Sanitäter". Optimiert als PWA mit vollständiger Offline-Version, die sich bei vorhandenem Netz selber aktualisiert und ohne Netz ganz brav den letzten bekannten Stand aus dem Cache anzeigt. Dazu eine JS-Livesuche und eine geobasierte Umkreissuche der nächsten Krankenhäuser.
Der Dokumentenviewer mit den Flussdiagrammen speist sich aus Visio-Dokumenten, die als SVG exportiert werden und beim Rendern on they fly automatisch mit Querverlinkungen zu bekannten CMS-Pages versehen werden. Crazy Stuff.
Inhalte werden mit Kirby gepflegt und bei Bedarf per Knopfdruck komplett statisch rausgerendert für die Live-PWA.

I'm starting a little public experiment. 🧪
I'm a complete non-programmer and I'm going to build a custom theme for Kirby CMS v5 — together with an LLM (Claude by Anthropic) as my coding partner. 😉
The goal: migrate my German blog kranzkrone.de from WordPress to Kirby, with a clean, minimalist design built (almost) from scratch.
Every step will be documented — the progress, the dead ends, the "why doesn't this work?!" moments. The code will be open on Codeberg. I'll blog about it and toot about it here.
If we hit a wall, I'll just show the code to someone who knows more. That's the beauty of building in public. 🙂
Proof of concept: how far can a curious amateur get in tandem with a powerful AI?

The Kirby Staticache plugin can now pre-compress ahead. That sounds interesting. High compression levels for on the fly caching can put a load on the web server. #KirbyCMS #Perf #WebDev

As I'm a fan of KirbyCMS and use LaravelHerd for local websites, I needed an IDE that included PHP.
At first, I thought that more than 200 EUR/year for both (WebStorm and PHPStorm) was too expensive...

Ofc, #Obsidian. #Tally for forms & surveys. #Brevo for email marketing & #Plausible for web analytics. Using fonts on my website from Atipo Foundry. Testing #Ellipsus for collaborative writing & editing.

Hatte ein weirdes Problem mit #kirbyCMS . Die Suche im Panel warf 500er zurück, was daran lag, dass ein paar Templates eine Datenbankanbindung brauchen, die ich nach Kopie der Site vom Entwicklungssystem noch nicht angepasst hatte. Darauf muss man erstmal kommen, ich hab ewig an völlig anderen Stellen gesucht. Jetzt klappt's ... #mybad
