  1. I have a problem. An addiction to trying new word processors (aka #writing apps). ✍️

    I've got #Scrivener, #LibreOffice, #OnlyOffice, #Pages, #Byword, and recently worked in #MSWord, #GoogleDocs, #Ulysses, and #AiWriter. Oh, and I've played around with #Zettlr, too. I can't stop. 😓

I'm a fan of #markdown and #opensource. Go ahead, make my life more complicated...what app do you think I should try?

  2. Byword, le cauchemar de l'IA touche les médias.
(Articles rédigés à partir d'articles réels, illustrations par IA, publication sur blog, réseaux sociaux simultanée...)

  3. @ellane I know what you mean. I opened #Byword a few months ago but didn’t spend much time in it due to the lack of highlighting. Same thing with #MarkEdit, another simple #markdown editor that, while under active development, also lacks == highlighting and has no visible left margin—your text is jammed tight against the side of the window unless you turn on line numbering, which is necessary in a code editor but I find unnecessary and annoying in a #writing app.

  4. @liztai I have several notebooks going at one time and am always on the hunt for more. I can’t help it. I also have several different apps I have tried for writing too ( #Byword, #IaWriter) and have snippets everywhere.

  5. Part 2 of desperate for help post: Does anyone know of an app that does not lose focus when using #voiceover with a #braille display and an #iPad pro? I have tried #Microsoft word #byword, #IAWRITER and #googleDoc. All lose focus quite a lot, or the braille display will show the cursor at one point, but it is actually at a different place in the text. It is making writing very difficult for my #studies.
