Halfpipes werden noch geskatet! Echt? Halfpipe fahren macht doch keiner mehr, oder? Wie auch? Gibt sie ja kaum noch. Manche behaupten ja, es ist einfach keine gute Session, wenn der Tod mitfährt. Es ist wohl auch so, dass die Slappycurbopas und -omas die früher #Halfpipe gefahren sind, das heute nicht mehr tun, weil der Abstand zwischen Slappycurb auf Knöchelhöhe und Coping auf doppelter Kopfhöhe auch leicht groß ist. Dennoch einmal im Jahr muss man nochmal Halfpipe fahren!

Among #skateboards you mostly have street skateboards and pool / vert skateboards. The construction is the same, but pool skateboards are wider and have larger wheels. This makes them much better for #pools / #bowls / #halfpipes / #miniramps. You can do tricks on the street with them, too.Most skateboards you see in skateparks and in the city are street skateboards. They are made for flat tricks like flip tricks (#klickflip etc.) and #grinding / #sliding rails and ledges.
