Never heard before of #skateboarding being described as "rough" (maybe it is by the standards of #Woodbridge #Suffolk 😁 ) - IME skaters are generally chilled out lads who cause little trouble compared to many other subcultures, but they are still judged quite harshly, particularly those who persist with it to their late 20s/30s and beyond (to be fair I'm more impressed, particularly if anyone in middle age is still doing it!)

Powell-Peralta team rider Dan Corrigan has been the main inspiration for me getting back into skating after 22 years, so it was a lot of fun seeing him at the Rockstar Energy Open Skateboarding Competition at Waterfront Park this weekend, goofing around with a supercool firecracker (intentionally hitting the last couple of steps) down this 9-stair double-set.
