I was skating to the park and suddenly there's a cop van behind me and I shit you not they switched on their loudspeaker and told me "Get off the street, it's not for skateboarding".So I did what every law abiding citizen would do and stopped and waited until they drove past me, waited 10 seconds and went back to skate on the street.

I helped a grown man today learning drop ins. He went from anxiously doing it while holding my hands to doing it alone in less than 15 minutes. It never gets old to see the happiness in peoples' eyes when that happens. And it makes me so very happy, too, to see that, to be reminded of my own first time. It really is the best feeling.
So, yeah, it's really great, how much offering a little bit assistance can help people overcome their fear.
