Among #skateboard‎s you mostly have street skateboards and pool / vert skateboards. The construction is the same, but pool skateboards are wider and have larger wheels. This makes them much better for #pool‎s / #bowl‎s / #halfpipe‎s / #miniramp‎s. You can do tricks on the street with them, too.

Most skateboards you see in skateparks and in the city are street skateboards. They are made for flat tricks like flip tricks (#klickflip etc.) and #grinding / #sliding rails and ledges.
