Premee Mohamed's THE SIEGE OF BURNING GRASS just came out two weeks ago, and Sydney Hegele's debut novel BIRD SUIT comes in in May. Thanks to Invisible Publishing for the advance copy!

I finished #NaNoWriMo on November 30th and ended up with 50k of stories. I had to come up with a new story idea every day, which was really hard but got easier as the month went on. November helped me through the most uncomfortable days and reminded me that writing and imagination grow stronger the more you use them. On December 1st, I committed to a daily writing goal of 300 words. It's a tiny joy. #AmWriting #WritingCommunity #MagicalRealism #speculative #fabulism
