You know what really bugs me about Eru Iluvatar?

This mf knew Sauron was setting the Numenoreans up to get their asses kicked sailing west. But instead of having all the smoke for Sauron like a real G, he only shows up to whoop ass on the victims of deception.

So far, I'm liking "The Children of Hurin" better than some parts of "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings." Maybe Amazon would have been better off developing this story as a movie or short series, rather than their souless dry-humping of "The Silmarillion."
