Here's an old flash story of mine published in Nature.
"between two voices talking" was a title prompt extracted from some markov-chain word soup, hence the lower case. So naturally I wanted to write a story about communication and understanding.

this #FlashFicFriday I offer up Andrea Saenz's "Everyone’s Abuelo Can’t Have Ridden With Pancho Villa," which makes me WEEP every time I read it.
I found it in the anthology SUDDEN FICTION LATINO, edited by Robert Shapard, James Thomas, and Ray Gonzales, plus a knockout introduction by Luisa Valenzuela. Highly recommend.

A little late...Published in Corvus Review, "Half-beast" is a flash fiction I posted to my blog today.
"For the first time, he worried about whether his antlers would become entangled in the low-hanging chandeliers or smash into a stained glass window and bring it crashing to the floor. People were generally accepting of him, but he nonetheless found it inconvenient to carry this weight on his head, though of course, his rack gained him respect."
