The UK Information Commissioner's Office just released a report, "Edtech examined," which reports the results of its audits of 28 edtech providers during 2024 and 2025, and the results.

They do not name the edtech providers, but do note that they have followed up with 12 of the 28:

"We continued to work with 12 of the 28 edtech providers after the audits. We requested that they provide further information to demonstrate how they are improving their data protection compliance. We are reviewing progress and supporting evidence in key risk areas to confirm that providers have completed the agreed actions."

I take back all my skepticism about Chat GPT, I just asked about the Moodle Marcus Green and it came back with some very positive (and accurate) information including this superbly accurate summary
