Did you know:

- it's recommended to have a diphtheria booster every 10 years

- it's usually given as a combined vaccine with tetanus and pertussis (whooping cough), called the dTpa

- it's recommended that you have a booster when you turn 50 and 65 years old

- you should have boosters every 5 years if you travel to high-risk areas or if you have other health factors

Talk to your doctor about getting a booster!

While I still can, here in the U.S., I got another COVID booster along with Tdap and updated (for me) MMR vaccines.

That's 10 COVID shots for me in 4 years. It's been about 10 years since I had a tetanus shot, I think, and I'm getting scratched and bitten by cats at the shelter where I volunteer, and apparently the original Measles vaccine I got in 1963 has dubious long-term effectiveness.

@kityates Tragic. If they aren't vaccinating for measles, one wonders what else is being left out? Hep B,, diptheria, tetanus, polio. HPV too. Giant stop back for public health.

I got my second (and last) #Shingles vaccine late this afternoon, along with a #Tdap (#pertussis [#WhoopingCough], #diptheria, #tetanus) shot and, so far, zero side effects.

That should be it for vaccines for me for the rest of the year.

My internal #5G is ultra fast now, almost 6G speed 😉

Earlier today, I posted about the tragic death of an #AsylumSeeker who was 'housed' in Manston Airport. He passed away because of a #diptheria outbreak at that unhygienic place

An hour ago, I learnt that ALL 38 asylum seekers are to be taken off the #BibbyStockholm because of a substantial #Legionnaires outbreak.

Humans are not supposed to live like this.
