Oof, I did not expect the pneumonia vaccine to hit so hard! I barely have any reaction to flu or Covid, and I'm just grateful that the shingles vaccine is disappearing in my rearview mirror.
My arm is all red and swollen and painful and the rest of me feels pretty crappy. But, not as bad as real pneumonia.

In midst of sending out last update (ĺink below), air got bad here in Albuquerque NM from huge fire. Came down with #pneumonia + #sepsis. In hospital now. 😞

I behaved much the same way when I was 11 and had a mild case of pneumonia in the dead of winter.
As soon as the antibiotics started working and I had a flicker of energy again, I tried to convince my parents to let me go on a bike ride outside in the cold and snow. (No, they did not allow it. 😄)
My spirit is willing, but my flesh is still weak….for now. #Pneumonia #Stubbornness
