Here is T****'s Social Media post last Saturday angrily condemning insurance companies for the high cost of health care (b/c he thinks they are supporters of "ObamaCare".)

Fine. Pass a #PublicOption that gives consumers an alternative. Call it "#TrumpCare" if that's what it takes to get the #NarcissistinChief to sign it. Tell him it would totally "get rid of [the need for] ObamaCare." (I thought of using the word "eradicate", but Mr. #BestWords doesn't like big words.)

He'd sign that.

IF THE #BlueWave CONTINUES and #Democrats retake Congress (House & Senate) in 2026, they need to pass some strict new rules on the presidency:

1) No more pardons for people who committed crimes in Potus' name.

2) Establish once & for all that a Potus can't pardon themselves.

3) (sans 60 senators) Abolish the filibuster and pass a #PublicOption via a straight 51 vote majority (call it "TrumpCare". He endorsed cutting out the Insurance Co's in a tweet Saturday.)

Unfortunately, U.S. states are unable to create single-payer systems without federal waivers that Trump/Vance will never give.

The ACA doesn't have a federal public option as part of it, but a couple of states have them now, and some California counties do. As a response to Republicans gutting Medicaid and the ACA, blue states should create public options for health insurance.

#Biden promised a #PublicOption for #HealthCare insurance. The basic idea being that the government run a system that you can buy into that doesn't need to make a profit, but does need to cover all of its costs. It wouldn't be subsidized like #medicaid or #medicare. Besides giving people an option that could be cheaper, it should help provide more transparency to the cost of health care.

For all the talk of Biden being more like FDR than recent Dems, his failure to do at least this, sucked.
