I had these 2 a5 Clairefontaine notebooks sliced to travellers notebook size (11cm wide but still a5 height) down at Officeworks today. They didn't charge me, and I am apparently the first person to ask for this at this store 😅

After my little flash card rant recently, I bought a different brand of flash card and some blank postcards. In the day and age of ballpoint pens, fountain pens seem to feather a lot because paper isn't made for fountain pens anymore. Except some specific brands. I shall stick with Exacompta and Clairefontaine paper for flashcards and postcards. This concludes my DIN A6 paper experiments.

DDG formats Amazon search results poorly, so as I skimmed the list I saw “discontinued by manufacturer” in a search for #clairefontaine Triomphe.

Nope, not to the best of my knowledge. Just happens to be a table on the Amazon page with product details including “no” across from those words.

Glad I clicked thru, especially as I understand cosmo air light is/will be disc…

Was disappointed to see that the #Stalogy 365 #notebook I bought performed so poorly with many of my #CurrentlyInked #FountainPens. I just finished a #Hobonichi plain notebook and wanted to try some other notebooks to see what I was missing. I also had a #Clairefontaine bound A5 notebook that performed better in the pen test, so luckily I could switch out the Stalogy. I guess I can use the Stalogy with certain fountain pens and some gel pens I have for maybe a work notebook or commonplace book.

I pretty much hated Pastelmat (a cellulose-based surface) until I began working on this wolf. It is giving me so many options for texture — which is ideal for wolf hair. I love it! @abetterjulie Agreed. I bought a #Rhodia notepad for taking notes at work and found I really didn't like it. The paper feels really...draggy? Like I have to exert more effort to write with my #FountainPens. I'll mess around with it more, but my initial reaction is bleh. I haven't tried #Clairefontaine paper yet, or #CosmoAir.
