Ich weiss nicht warum, aber heute bin ich in einen #Radiergummi #Kanninchenbau gefallen. Dabei habe ich mit Freuden festgestellt, dass es die Klassiker von Läufer alle noch gibt, den Plast, den Plast-Combi und den Doppel-Läufer Universal. Kennt ihr, oder?
Aber ich hatte mich auch daran erinnert, dass es diese runden Radierer mit Metallscheibe in der Mitte gab, hauptsächlich gedacht, um mit der Schreibmaschine Geschriebenes zu radieren. Die hatten echt Power, fast wie Schleifpapier. Die gibt es wohl nicht mehr. Dafür habe ich das hier gefunden:

Je prends des photos quand je pars en vacances. J'aime bien shooter en plan large. Une fois chez moi, j'effectue un zoom le plus grand sur un sujet en arrière plan qui m'intéresse.
La photo est déformée, les couleurs se mêlent et le personnage n'est plus reconnaissable. Par contre la pause ne peut pas être plus naturelle.

I know, I know, I said I wouldn't buy any more #FountainPens this month after the two Parkers … but I found these three vintage pens locally and picked them up in person yesterday for only 10 CHF. The “demonstrator” is a #Waterman Phileas Translucent Blue CT (what a mouthful of a name), medium nib. The black one is a #CaranDAche (M) and the blue one a #Patromatic (F). They are all on the cheaper, plastic side, but they all write well.

I think I just don't like ballpoint pens anymore. I bought a Caran d'Ache pen thinking they might be nicer, flow better like a gel pen, but the refill included is not. I'll have to research different refills. #pens #CaranDache #hmph

This is a work in progress, an abstract landscape that I’ve been working on for a while. It is going in the right direction but it is definitely not there yet. It needs both light and dark. Don’t have a lot of time for painting but I did a quick watercolor + gouache sketch the other day. Subject is an old Victorian house in Mt Holly, NJ, USA, from a reference photo. Usually draw the image first but this time I mostly used brushwork. Recently I acquired a Caran d’Ache gouache pan set so I’m just playing around with it.
Since I was in the mood for experimentation I made the frame using some scrap wood that was lying around.
