Ich war durch Kauf und Besichtigung eines #eAuto zu spät zur Wirtschafts-Podi im Autohaus in #Freiburg.
Deshalb habe ich nicht alles mitbekommen. #AchimWiehle beklagte ein Autofeindliches Klima in der Stadt und wollte irgendwie mit #SaniFair organisieren, das man beim Einkaufen #ÖPNV Gutscheine bekommt.
#FloBraune meinte man brauche am Samstag nicht mehr Leute in der Stadt die sich dort aufhalten, sondern mehr die dort Geld ausgeben. Dafür gab es dann Buhrufe.
Streckenweise gabs auch eine seltsame “wir müssen die #Gewerbesteuer Diskussion”.
Über #Lieferketten, was die #Ölkrise und der kommende Mangel an Plastik, Vorprodukten für Firmen wie #Rhodia etc... bedeutet wurde nicht gesprochen.

Got a new #WilliamHannah notebook. #Discbound has been solid for me for a long time now. This is still a bit of an experiment but I hope it'll be nice.
I immediately swaped out the 60 pages that I'm sure a nice paper for 100 of tried and true #rhodia.

Who's got lined #notebook recs for #FountainPen related scribbling?
I'm currently 20 or so pages into a #Rhodia compostion book and I'm not sure it's for moi. The #paper is rather plastic-y and too smooth... It's great for not bleeding through but I think I'm more of a fan of paper that's going to absorb more #ink as you #write on it more immediately.
What are your favourites otherwise as well?

Time for a change! While the old one was not yet empty at all, it did no longer dispense ink at any angle. So I always had to twist the pen in my hand to find the right position. It also made me press too hard, as is evident by the impressions on the Rhodia dot grid notepad.

Just inked up my TWSBI 🖋️ I have to mark essays today so I decided to see if my fine nib will take a shimmer ink without clogging. Usually, I use broad nibs for shimmer ink but I would like to mark with shimmer ink. So far there is a faint shimmer in the ink swatch and it hasn't clogged, but I'll be writing on poor quality paper so time will tell.

Somewhere along the line, I got it into my head that #Rhodia was more expensive as a "daily driver" notebook, and settled on Midoris for the purpose.
There is, in fact, not a meaningful cost difference at my rate of consumption. Rhodia's A5 spiral behaves far better inside a Travelers Notebook cover, as well.
Nothing against Midor - it's great paper. But for sheer usability and joy of writing, Rhodia is just more enjoyable to use frequently, IMHO.
