Today is the official BC Local General Election Day!
Get out and vote for your councillors, school trustees, area directors and mayors! Polls are generally open from 8AM to 8PM. Locations will be listed on your local government/city/district website.
And if you haven’t voted in the provincial advance polls yet, you can do that too afterwards!

Shout out Elections BC staff working all over BC on the first day of Advance Voting! #BCElection
I voted today here at the station in the cafeteria at VIU. You can vote at any polling place in the province for the person in your riding!
I gave the fellow my driver’s licence (one photo ID needed), he found my registration, asked me some questions, and printed my ballot.
I voted on a bubble card (3 candidates in MIPR), and it went in a tabulator.
Done!
10 minutes!
