I'm going to go do something today that I have not done in about two decades. I'm going to go vote. In person.
I've lived out of the country for so long that voting has been done by mail - if at all. (My thought was if I'm not up to speed on the candidates or positions, a blind vote was worse than no vote)
But it is a local election for mayor and city counselors. And I have educated myself on the local candidates and positions, and am going to take advantage of advance voting - since I apparently have some free time.
