  2. Reddit is roasting Poilievre, but I agree with Poilievre, here: we need to get an ethics committee to investigate this.

    Carney and Eby keep saying that their housing plan that they announced on June 18th isn't a bailout, but every word that comes out of their mouth continues to make it sound like a bailout.

    Unpopular opinion:

    I actually want politicians to be landlords or aspire to be landlords.

    Then they'd realize: rent control doesn't work, and NIMBYs are obnoxious.

    Put an artificial cap on rent, and you get a natural cap in housing creation.

    Lift rent control, and watch the supply grow.
